On a hot Thursday morning in Thailand, eight-year-old Thanawat “Shane” Promwaen rewrote the record books, becoming the youngest person to windsurf 107 kilometers across the Gulf of Thailand. But behind every great athlete is a team, and in Shane’s case, that team included Champion3, the dynamic marketing agency helping bring his extraordinary journey to the public.

Shane's epic crossing, from Surfspot in Hua Hin to Pattaya’s Na Jomtien Beach, took just 4 hours and 10 minutes. It was his third attempt, after two previous tries were thwarted by tricky wind conditions. This success wasn’t just about athleticism, it was a landmark in his dream to one day represent Thailand at the Youth Olympics and become the youngest wing foiling world champion.

While Shane and his family focused on training, wind patterns, and safety boats, Champion3 handled the wind in his sails when it came to online visibility.

A Dream with Digital Wings

Champion3 partnered with Shane, his sponsor and his family to build a professional athlete profile that would inspire both sponsors and fans. From crafting compelling press releases to capturing adrenaline-filled videos of his training and competitions, Champion3 helped tell Shane’s story in a way that resonated far beyond Thailand’s shores.

Champion3 launched and managed Shane’s official website, a central hub for his media, milestones, and sponsorship outreach. They also ran his social media presence, including a growing Facebook community, where thousands now follow his progress.

Most importantly, Champion3 ensured that Shane’s incredible Gulf of Thailand crossing wasn’t just a personal triumph, it became an international headline.
