Behind the scenes of shooting the Öhlins Adventure Suspension video in Kanchanaburi Thailand

Champion3 welcomed the invitation to shoot the official video of four Adventure motorcycles equipped with the latest Öhlins Advanced Suspension Technology in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

But after the scouting trips, the challenge soon became how to shoot in multiple locations many miles apart during the unpredictable rainy season… and with just two days to do it!

While the rainy season brought its own unique set of challenges: Slippery roads, muddy off-road and dirty motorcycles, the positive was that the conditions provided the perfect opportunity to showcase the exceptional performance of Öhlins suspension in an authentic environment!

Our team, a dedicated crew of 30 consisting of photographers, videographers, mechanics and support staff, worked tirelessly to capture the smooth, controlled ride of the Ducati DesertX, Yamaha Tenere, Honda Africa Twin, and CRF300L, despite the challenging conditions.

Coordinating travel, equipment, and a large crew across multiple locations within a tight timeframe, all while contending with the unpredictable weather, demanded meticulous planning. But the result? Unforgettable moments and a treasure trove of stunning visuals that showcase the fun of Adventure riding and capabilities of Öhlins Advanced Suspension Technology.
